Ben co-founded the group with Jamie Cooke and has overseen its expansion from a primarily Auction focused business into other markets such as Conveyancing and Compliance. Ben’s main role is to explore new opportunities and develop the businesses digital strategy by focusing on investing in and developing technology-based solutions that allow property professionals to enhance their proposition and profitability.
Ben met Jamie at Northumbria University while studying a degree in Estate Management. After working together at a Local Property Business based in Newcastle, the idea of starting a white label outsourced property auction service was conceived in 2009.
Ben recently received recognition for his hard work by winning the coveted Scale Up Entrepreneur of the Year award in concurrence with Jamie Cooke.
Jamie co-founder of iamproperty has overseen its expansion from a primarily Auction focused business into other markets such as Conveyancing and Compliance. Jamie’s main role is the day to day operations of iamsold, as Managing Director. Recently Jamie received recognition for his hard work by winning the coveted Scale Up Entrepreneur of the Year award in concurrence with Ben Ridgway.
Jamie originally from Ireland, moved to Newcastle in 2003 to study a degree in Estate Management at Northumbria University. In his final year, Jamie meet Ben and following a short period of working together at a Local Property Business based in Newcastle the cornerstone idea of starting a white label outsourced property auction service was conceived and launched in 2009.
Lee joined iamproperty at the beginning of 2020, entering the business with a 20 year-plus career in senior leadership within the manufacturing, travel, insurance, energy and property industries under his belt.
Most recently acting as Head of Partnerships at SSE and leading an award-winning channel to deliver 6 consecutive years of growth – more than trebling the volume of customers generated and attaining the greatest share of market in the sector – Lee joins the iamproperty family to head up iamsold’s growth with a key focus on the strategic direction of our Account Management and Sales functions.
Lee is passionate about developing people, bringing his strong coaching methodology and history of achieving high employee engagement to the table. His experience includes working with some of the UK’s largest property owners, Developers and Letting Agents.
Michele joined iamproperty in 2019 to lead and grow the group’s Marketing function. An experienced senior leader with a strong strategic marketing and commercial background in both B2C and B2B, Michele has a proven track record of delivering results. Most recently as Global Category Lead for FMCG business The Mayborn Group, pioneering and driving the innovation pipeline for the businesses largest global category, setting the innovation agenda based on clear consumer insight.
In a recently expanded role, as Chief Marketing Officer, Michele is accountable for building an A+ team and overseeing all aspects of marketing. She is passionate about putting customers at the heart of everything the business does, using customer and consumer insight to support innovation and brand differentiation as key drivers of business and category growth.
Nicola joined iamproperty at the beginning of 2018, immediately bringing strategic direction to the People function of the business as a Chartered and qualified CIPD HR professional with over 20 years of experience.
With a strong background in working for blue-chip global companies, Nicola’s passion lies in supporting the business goals through the people agenda, whilst building and leading an effective HR team. Her main focus is driving a company culture with a sound moral compass, whilst ensuring all business change and decisions have the people agenda at the forefront.
Eoghan joined iamproperty in November 2016, instantly making an impact on the company’s financial direction as the Group Financial Director. Today, Eoghan is responsible for all Finance, Insurance, Commercial, Legal and Compliance activity within iamproperty.
Eoghan a qualified accountant studied at Newcastle University, taking part in the pioneering ‘flying start’ degree course, a collaboration between Newcastle University, PwC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
On leaving university, he joined PwC, where he completed his professional training. Eoghan enjoyed a variety of roles and experiences with PwC before moving into industry as part of the sale of Tekmar Energy Limited to private equity investors Elysian Capital. Eoghan played a key role throughout the growth and diversification of Tekmar, which culminated in his achievement of the Accountant of the Year 2016, awarded at the North-East Accountancy awards.
David Vine, Business Development Director at iamproperty, has over 20 years’ experience in the property industry.
Starting his career as a Negotiator, David is well versed on what it’s like to work in an Estate Agency.
Over the past 8 years whilst at iamsold David has helped many of our Partner Agents grow their business with auction.
Now, as Business Development Director, David is accountable for iamproperty’s customer acquisition strategy and supports Estate Agents across the UK form successful partnerships with iamproperty and iamsold.
With over 20 years in software development and IT, Ross joined iamproperty in 2016 from SGP Consulting where he was an interim Chief Technology Officer. Ross has held a number of technology senior roles within Smith Electric Vehicles, Rozmic Wireless and StormMQ, where he has introduced, implemented and delivered large scale transformation projects across multiple industries.
Mark has held a number of high-profile roles over the last 12 years in the UK property space, most recently as Managing Director of the Zoopla Property Division, following the successful sale of his business “Property Software Group” to them in April 2016.
Mark has a broad experience of both B2B and B2C market places and all his businesses have had a strong consumer and technology focus. Having navigated various businesses through some of the most challenging times in the UK property market, over the last few years. Before entering the world of property, Mark spent 10 years in various senior executive roles with the Autotrader group, then latterly Managing Director at the TNT magazine group.
Mark has broad knowledge of all the major classified market verticals and is FCCA and ICSA qualified and today leads the strategy for the iamproperty group.
For almost three decades, Jon has worked across the UK estate agency market at a local and national level in positions ranging from Branch Manager to Founder of the luxury brand Fine & Country and more recently, CEO of the hybrid agency, easyProperty – a business backed by Sir Stelios’ easyGroup.
Jon’s entrepreneurial spirit has enabled him to lead successful start-up businesses into dominant market players. This began with Intercounty, which grew organically and by acquisition to a turnover of £30million, as part of an M&A vehicle LSLi – owned by LSL Property Services Plc.
At the helm of YourMove, the UK’s largest single-branded agency and a subsidiary of LSL, Jon’s M&A acumen assisted with the expansion of the business particularly focused on acquiring reoccurring revenue via lettings businesses. At the time, YourMove’s turnover grew to in excess of £100m.
In 2012, Jon was recognised by The Sunday Times’ Estate Agency Events Awards where he received the Outstanding Contribution to Estate Agency Award.
